HÀ NỘI — Saigon Heat were defeated 八 一- 七 九 by CLS Knights Indonesia in the ASEAN Basketball League on Sunday.
After a six game road stretch, the Heat were grateful to play at home at CIS Arena in HCM City and had an impressive start, taking the first quarter 二 五- 一 九, led by DeAngelo Hamilton ( 八 points), Murphy Burnatowski ( 六 points) and Trần Đăng Khoa ( 五 points).
The Heat flexed their muscles in the second period and entered the half with a 五 二- 四0 lead.
In the next period, the Indonesian team stepped up their game and came from behind to end the third up 六 四- 六0.
The Heat narrowed the gap to two points in the last quarter but still fell 八 一- 七 九.
The Heat will next take on Zhuhai Wolf Warriors on March 三.
